exploring the textures and spectral remnants of goussainville vieux pays, a town deserted following the construction of charles de gaulle airport on the outskirts of paris, this diptych traces the echoes of abandonment, departures, and arrivals. absence contaminated by presence, and vice-versa. the film was edited entirely by hand, and the installation is conceived for projection with two super 8 film projectors, creating a dialogue between the paired images.
